A story from the birth of the Sanctuary of the Inner Compass:

Since 2019, the Everland project and vision has ignited big questions about how best to serve the global and local community and manifest a more beautiful world. Everland’s intention is to serve as as leader in embracing collaboration, play, creativity, awareness, sustainability, and authenticity. Everland offers an access point for nature-based wisdom, a safe space for true human connection and healing. These are noble aims, no doubt, and the all-important question is how?
On the brink of a brand new decade, Everland is pleased to announce a long-term partnership with the newly established Sanctuary of the Inner Compass Retreat Center. Inner Compass is a self-supported spiritual ministry and non-profit. Each of us carries a spark of the divine that seeks expression through our lives and works. Inner Compass will serve as the heart of a community that honors the intrinsic voice of each individual, encouraging them to follow its guidance. It will provide and hold the safe container for exploration in the spirit of love, accountability, and collective evolution.
Many spiritual traditions invoke the four cardinal directions, as well as the sky above, the earth below, and the spirit within to create sacred space. Inner Compass aims to activate the awareness of this limitless source of information and inspiration within. Encouraging us all to follow our own Inner Compass. Our hope is that we may more fully express the wisdom of our hearts out in the world for the benefit of all beings.
Generally speaking, our retreat center is the primary space used and booked for weekend retreats. In time we will expand our gatherings to consist of special programming like guided group meditations & yoga, inspiring presentations, facilitated conversations, time in nature, community-building, art projects, and service. We gather as a community to activate our creativity as a spiritual practice in alignment with our values.
The Sanctuary of the Inner Compass represents an invitation to all who seek enhanced access to and expression of their truest self. Inner Compass offers encouragement and support for sincere inquiry into our profound inner realms. We seek to provide a variety of empowering reflections for each individual as they travel their particular path towards wholeness and authenticity.
We do not pretend to know the answers to life’s mysteries but as explorers we will ask the questions together. All are welcome. Come as you are.
