The Sanctuary of the Inner Compass is a sovereign spiritual ministry devoted to enhancing individual and collective access to innate creative wisdom.

We invite all beings to discover and activate the limitless source of peace, joy and freedom that lives within them. 

Through attunement to nature, community connection and creative expression, we expand and fine-tune our capacity to cultivate resilient harmony between our inner and outer realms of experience.

We aspire to provide a true sanctuary to all who would sincerely seek it. Our shared sense of sanctuary includes:

  • Physical access to the peace of wild, natural places; 

  • A welcoming emotional environment founded upon unconditional positive regard for self and others; 

  • An open-minded zone that invites spiritual inquiry without prejudgement of any gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious tradition, political position or genetic heritage.

The Sanctuary of the Inner Compass offers a variety of practices designed to encourage personal growth and spiritual evolution. Some of these include:

  • Guided group meditation

  • Multi-sensory healing experiences (sound, light, touch, taste, smell)

  • Individual counseling (Ayurveda, astrology, massage, reiki, etc)

  • Inspirational presentations and interactive workshops

  • Public witness, community support, prayer circles

  • Nature-based ceremony and rites of passage

  • Creative expression in the form of visual art, ecstatic dance, poetry and song, etc.

  • Community service work and play

The Sanctuary of the Inner Compass was birthed through the Everland project on 145 acres in Sedalia, CO - a majestic Outdoor Immersive Art Park and overnight glamping Cultural Facility that was set to open in 2024, and yet was forced to close due to several unavoidable roadblocks in permitting, funding, and economic recession. Despite the land having new owners, Inner Compass’ beginnings will always be the heartspace of Everland; the symbiotic relationship between these organizations was of immense benefit to all involved, enhancing the overall experience for all retreat guests.

Since 2019, Inner Compass has been eager to welcome all who feel called to participate in the pursuit of our shared mission. As the next chapter unfolds, we will always remember these years at the Everland Property.
